The Shakshuka

The term shakshuka is an arabic word which means a haphazard mixture. traditionally shakshuka is made with gently poached eggs in the simmering mixture of tomatoes, onion and garlic which is heartly spiced with freshness of herbs and touch of bell pepper.

The traditional shakshuka is said to be a north african dish. although Tunisia is said to be this birth place. Shakshuka also has its fame in the middle east and has several delicious variations.
